EIA says 2014 ethanol exports reached highest level since 2011

In Washington, the Energy Information Agency says US ethanol exports in 2014 hit the highest level since 2011 at 826 million gallons in 2014, short of the 1.3 billion gallon record. At the same time, ethanol imports fell to their lowest since 2010 at just 73 million gallons, down 81% on the year. The US is a net exporter for ethanol for the fifth year running.
