Ethanol cargos flowing into the European market at last

November 24, 2015 |

In France, about 5,800 cubic meters of ethanol from Brazil’s Santos port is expected to arrive in Dunkirk on Dec. 7, one of a number of cargos expected to land in Europe during December to help ease the tight supply situation that has supported the market for the last several months. The shipment includes 2,500 cu m of ENA, another 2,500 cu m of industrial ethanol with the remaining volume for fuel, all supplied by Raizen and Alcotra. Another 20,000 cu m is on its way for December delivery from the US via Norway while a shipment from Peru is also en route.
