January 11, 2016 |

In Washington, the US Census Bureau says November biodiesel imports fell to 98,895 metric tons, 19% lower than the month previous, and down 29% on the year, the first time imports fell behind last year’s monthly imports in 2015. Total imports reached 1.025 million through November, nearly breaking 2013’s record through November of 1.1 million tons. Argentina continues to be the main origin for imports at 75,392 tons of the total, nearly double the country’s exports to the US in November 2014 but down about 2% from October.
