REG to focus on supply chain management at Grays Harbor rather than crude

In Washington state, Renewable Energy Group no longer intends to store crude oil at its recently-acquired Grays Harbor facility but still plans to manage its supply chain for all materials required to produce biofuels at the former Imperium Renewables facility. The company still needs to submit the formal plan revision with the state’s Department of Ecology for it to be official, something that should happen in the next week or so. Crude oil storage has been a controversial issue in the region and a question local authorities are glad seen put to rest.
