In Indonesia, a Reuters survey of analysts shows February crude palm oil production is likely to have fallen to 2.30 million metric tons, down from 2.44 million tons in January and the lowest monthly production since February 2015. Annual production is expected to fall for the first time since 1998 to 32.1 million tons due to drought caused by El Niño. The Malaysian Palm Oil Board said it expected Indonesia palm oil exports to have fallen 15% in February.
