Mercedes denies telling India its vehicles could run on B100

In India, the Mercedes MD for the country says he never told the transportation minister that the company’s vehicles would be able to run on 100% biodiesel despite the minister saying he was told directly the cars and trucks would be able to run on the biodiesel spec being prepared by the ministry. The MD says instead there would be 100% availability of Bharat Stage-VI in all vehicles which he assumes the minister mistook for biodiesel.
