Then: I was working for the USFS-PNW in Sitka, AK on a project using LCA methods to evaluate impact of traditional fuel oil vs biomass (wood pellets) on global warming potential

Now: I am working for the USFS-PNW in Sitka, AK on a project developing young-growth yield tables for species that grow in SE Alaska. Up to the limits of sustainability, the use of bio products has the potential to limit climatic change.

Challenges: : Making certain that use is maintained at sustainable limits.
