Brazilian hydrous ethanol sales jump 23% in August

In Brazil, hydrous ethanol sales volumes jumped more than 23% during August compared to the month prior at 1.37 billion liters, with total ethanol sales reaching 2.39 billion liters. Only about 200,000 liters were destined for export. For the last two weeks of August, mills produced 1.02 billion liters of hydrous and 749.44 million liters of anhydrous ethanol while sales just 433.93 million liters of anhydrous were sold.
