Farm Credit Agency tells House subcommittee that ag economy needs stable biofuel market

In Washington, the head of the Farm Credit Agency told the House Agriculture Commodity Exchanges, Energy and Credit Subcommittee that what the agricultural economy in general and the biofuel industry specifically needs to a stable market for ethanol and biodiesel, that growing and keeping the industry is critical. Though he said the Commodity Credit Corporation has stepped in in the short-term to help fill the gap from missing export opportunities to China, he said that the industry needs those markets back.
