Aventine to open new Indiana ethanol plant by year end

In Indiana, Aventine Renewables says it will open its new ethanol facility in Mount Vernon before the end of the year when the federal deadline for new regulations on renewable fuels takes effect. If it is up and running before the deadline, the facility will be grandfathered in under older, laxer rules.
