Biofuels Digest Index slips 0.04 percent to 72.79

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, slipped 0.04 percent to 72.79 as ethanol surged and large caps slid.  For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 0.25 percent to $32.30, while BP recovered 0.68 percent to $41.61.  Among other equities, BioFuel Emergy (BIOF) continued its surge to $2.83, up 17.92 percent. Overall, declines led advances 7 to 4 for the day.
