Biofuels Digest Index sheds 1.51 percent to 73.94 as renewables decline across the board

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, shed 1.51 percent to 73.94 on a broad renewables decline. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 1.85 percent to $32.96, while BioFuel Energy (BIOF) plunged 6.72 percent to $2.22. Among other equities, Codexis (CDXS) skidded 7.07 percent to $9.99. Overall, declines led advances 8 to 1 for the day.
