Repsol, KUO, form jatropha biofuels venture in Mexico

In Mexico, Repsol announced the formation of a new company, Kuosol, in partnership with Mexico’s KUO Group, to develop a 10 million gallons jatropha-based biofuels venture. Kuosol will develop up to 10,000 acres of Mexican land and generate, according to the company, using land vacated by a pork operation, and recycled water from local farms.
