Global biofuels demand to rise to 121 million tonnes by 2014: report

In Ohio, Freedonia has released a study estimating global biofuel demand at 121 million metric tons by 2014 with steady growth in North America and much more rapid expansion in Asia/Pacific and Europe. Demand for biobutanol and renewable diesel demand will also grow significantly. The study also expects that international trade in biofuel will expand at a quickening pace.
