Biofuels Digest Index tumbles 2.47 percent on broad equities fall

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, plunged 2.47 percent to 74.29 on a broad equities decline.  For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) tumbled 2.02 percent to $29.58, while Valero (VLO) dropped 3.89 percent to $18.76. Among other equities, Amyris (AMRS) fell 4.73 percent to $18.32. Overall, declines led advances 18 to 1 for the day.
