Biofuels Digest Index reaches new 28-month high of 78.07 as advanced biofuels gain

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, gained 0.35 percent to 78.07 as large caps and advanced biofuels were up. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) edged up 0.07 percent to $30.17 , while Amyris (AMRS) soared again, up 4.75 percent to $23.81, and is now up more than one-third  since its IPO.  Among other equities, Verenium (VRNM) jumped 6.02 percent to $3.70. Overall, advances led declines 3 to 2 for the day.
