Biofuels Digest Index falls 0.38 percent to 80.54

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, fell 0.38 percent to 80.54 as the broad equities markets also skidded. For the day, The Andersons (ANDE) retreated 2.42 percent to $36.32, while Monsanto (MON) gained 1.16 percent to $69.72. Among other equities, Cosan (CZZ) dropped 0.72 percent to $13.72. Overall, declines led advances by 5 to 2 for the day.
