On the Move in Biofuels: Enerkem, Merrick, Growth Energy

In Washington, Growth Energy announced the addition of Hillary Price as Public Affairs Associate – previously the deputy press secretary for Congressman Earl Pomeroy (D-ND).  Ryan Welsh has joined as Account Manager with Growth Energy, from KSFY Television, in Sioux Falls, S.D. Cynthia Witkin joins as Director of State Government Affairs, from the U.S. Chamber Institute for Legal Reform. Nicole Schofer becomes Research Coordinator, from senior researcher on Defense Secretary Gates’ speechwriting team. Chris Bliley becomes Director of Regulatory Affairs, from The Nussle Group. John Fuher becomes Director of Government Relations, from the U.S. Senate Budget Committee. Finally, Carrie Emert becomes American Ethanol Sponsorship Manager for Growth Energy from Richard Childress Racing.

Dr. Alvin Nienow has recently joined The Merrick Consultancy as a senior consultant.

In Canada, Enerkem appointed Jean-François Normand as Vice President, Project Management, previously a Director at Voith Hydro.
