German drivers confused over E10 ethanol, switch to gasoline

In Germany, drivers are confused whether their cars can run on new E10 blends or not so instead are switching to more expensive premium gasoline at the pump. The German Association of Service Stations has called on the German petroleum industry association and gas stations to provide clear information about which models can run on the E10 gas. Up to 70% of drivers may be making the wrong decision at the pump by avoiding E10, and wasting money while they’re at it.
