Biofuels Digest Index recovers to 88.65 as ethanol advances

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, recovered 0.24 percent to 88.65 as ethanol advanced. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) gained 0.41 percent to $36.77, while Biofuels Energy (BIOF) jumped 5.81 percent to $0.91. Among other equities, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) soared 7.58 percent to $0.71. Overall, advances led declines 3 to 2 for the day.
