Biofuels Digest Index soars to 32-month high of 89.98

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, soared 1.50 percent to a 32-month high of 89.98 on a broad equities advance. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) gained 1.41 percent to $37.29, while Valero (VLO) zoomed 7.73 percent to$28.98. Among other equities, Amyris (AMRS) rocketed 4.82 percent to $31.76. Overall, advances led declines 9 to 2 for the day.
