UK energy minister gives thumbs-up on advanced biofuels

In the UK, UK energy and climate change secretary Chris Huhne gave a speech to the CentreForum and commented on progress in biofuels are being positively affected by advances in technology, following the signing of a researcher cooperation agreement between the UK and Denmark on  energy supply research projects. “The US Navy will get half of its energy from non-fossil fuel sources,” Huhne noted, by the end of this decade. They’ve already flown fighter planes powered by biofuels, and they’ve already launched their first hybrid power ship.”
