EU contemplates dumping charges over US ethanol

In Belgium, European ethanol producers will decide by the end of March if they will file a legal complaint with the European Commission over illegal dumping by the US based on E90 exports. If successful, the move would push the EC to add extra tariffs to US ethanol imports. ePure is also seeking to have all imported biofuel blends classified as agricultural imports which would boost tariffs by 40%.
