Global ethanol production reaches 85B liters, saves 105M tonnes in emissions: report

In Canada, the Global Renewable Fuels Alliance released a report by (S&T)2 Consultants, which determined that world ethanol production in 2011 will reduce global GHG emissions by 105 million tonnes. The GFRA also said that global ethanol production reached 85.7 billion liters in 2010, and together with F.O. Licht the GFRA is projecting that global production will grow 3% to 88.7 billion liters in 2011.
