Bulgaria postpones biodiesel mandate

In Bulgaria, the government has decided to postpone its mandatory biodiesel blend until next year in an effort to counteract rising prices at the pump. Not including biodiesel will cut prices by 4 cents per liter.

Lukoil, which owns the country’s sole refinery, has put a one month moratorium on price hikes and says other oil suppliers are thinking to do the same.
