Oil price hike won't affect palm oil for biodiesel: analyst

In Malaysia, OSK Research Sdn Bhd. says that the recent increase in oil prices isn’t likely to lead to increased demand for palm oil as a biodiesel feedstock because CPO is currently trading around the equivalent of $155 per barrel —or $185 per barrel as biodiesel—compared to $112 barrel petroleum prices.
