Minnesota ethanol, agriculture support bill reaches Governor

In Minnesota, Katharine Tinucci, Press Secretary for Governor Mark Dayton stated the $79 million agricultural funding bill will most likely be signed by the Governor.  The bill calls for the  spending to be spread over the next two years, of which $13.7 million will be paid to ethanol producers.  While Minnesota started paying producers over 12 years ago, budgetary issues led to the state postponing payments it had promised.  If enacted, this bill would end that.
