ADM to buy out Canaa Participacoes interest in Limeira do Oeste ethanol mill

In Brazil, ADM has agreed to buy the remaining 51% of Limeira do Oeste ethanol mill in Minas Gerais from its current partner Canaa Participacoes. Limeira crushes 3 million metric tons of cane annually. The JV formed in 2008 had intended to build two mills with investments expected around $500 million but construction on the second mill hasn’t started.
