In California, Fueling California has announced that both they and the Orange County Business Council have released a report, “Projected Outlook for Next Generation and Alternative Transportation Fuels in California 2010-2030,” written by Automobile Club of Southern California, UC Irvine research experts, and Tiax LLC.  According to Fueling California’s website, the report concludes that by 2030, over 75% of Californian vehicles will be fueled by gasoline and diesel.  The main contributing factor for this cited on the website was the slow turnover of vehicles – between ten and fifteen years.
