Sustainable biodiesel comes to Florida Keys

In Florida, Marathon Biodiesel is producing biodiesel from local restaurants and backyard fish frying in the Florida Keys.  Jeff Lillie, states that he is not trying to get rich, but is motivated by wanted to help out the ocean environment, stating, “We can’t go: ‘Timeout. I want to go to Earth 2.'”  Reportedly, Lillie has some 3,000 gallons ready for the market at a price of $3.75/gallon, and is working to raise the money for lab testing which could qualify him to sell his biodiesel to federal agencies, as well as qualify for tax credits.
