Biofuels Digest Index slips to 86.65 as ethanol dips

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, slipped 0.30 percent to 86.65 as ethanol stocks dipped. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) dropped 1.40 percent to $30.38, while Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) plummeted 20.37 percent to $0.86. Among other equities, Syntroleum (SYNM) fell 4.96 percent to $1.34. Overall, declines led advances 8 to 5 for the day.
