Biofuels Digest Index drops to 71.01 on stinky jobs data

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, fell 1.18 percent to 71.01 as oil stocks and ethanol dropped on economic fears.  For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 1.20 percent to $27.10, while Gevo (GEVO) recovered 3.63 percent to $9.99. Among other equities, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) fell 8,51 percent to $0.43. Overall, declines led advances 3 to 1 for the day.
