Pennsylvania releases more incentive funds for biodiesel

In Pennsylvania, Berks County has received another $100,000 grant from the state Dept. of Environmental Protection’s Alternative Fuels Incentive Grant program to continue offsetting difference in diesel and biodiesel fuel costs. It follows a previous $183,000 grant. Daily use in 250 buses between February and June was estimated to reduce carbon emissions by more than 255,000 pounds.
