Canadian researchers: next-gen biofuels, not until 2020

In Canada, a new study from Queen’s University says that processing costs for second-generation ethanol will remain prohibitive until 2020 due to the extra infrastructure necessary for significant and costly pre-treatment of cellulosic feedstocks.
