Biofuels Digest Index falls to 73.44 as Codexis takes a beating

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, fell 0.93 percent to 73.44 as Codexis (CDXS) took a drubbing following departure of CEO Alan Shaw.   For the day, BP slipped 0.97 percent to $47.16, while Codexis (CDXS) plunged 19.21 percent to $3.70. Among other equities, BlueFire Renewables (BFRE.OB) gained 29.55 percent to $0.57. Overall, advances led declines 7 to 6 for the day.
