US ethanol production rising: DOE

In Washington, the DOE says that ethanol production has returned to levels not seen in the past two months, with last week’s production reaching 897,000 barrels a day, up 0.3% from the week prior. That was also the second week in a row of production volume growth, the first time it has happened since Dec. 30.
