Powers Energy waste to ethanol project revives in Indiana

In Indiana, the Munster town council is taking public comment regarding the proposed agreement for the Lake County Solid Waste District to supply MSW to Schneider Advanced Biofuel Facility under development.

Powers Energy of America will develop the facility to produce ethanol from MSW. The project had been stalled and the county threatened to pull the plug but the company has since passed two benchmarks set by the county.
