US biodiesel production soars

In Washington, the EPA has released 2012 biodiesel production figures through April, which reached a total of 331 million gallons. April biodiesel production was more than 98 million gallons alone, though that’s down from the 108 million gallons produced in March but well above the 71.8 million gallons produced in April 2011.
