Gushan chairman privatizes Chinese biofuels pioneer

In China, Gushan Environmental Energy’s chairman is taking the company private with a deal valuing it at $30.9 million thanks to a 71% premium to the ADR’s Friday close. The transaction, whose offer was first made in February, is expected to close before the end of the third quarter.
