Tire Recycling & Processing starts new facility for tire-based fuels

In Texas, Tire Recycling & Processing has started up its new tire processing facility that will see waste tires recycled and then later processed into biofuel using thermodynamic reactors. According to the Brownsville Herald newspaper, one passenger car tire produces one gallon of biodiesel, eight pounds of carbon char and two pounds of steel and non-condensable gas.
