Biofuels Digest Index slips to 60.80 as advanced biofuels tank

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, slipped 0.26 percent to 60.80 as advanced biofuels stocks tanked. For the day, Renewable Energy Group (REGI) fell 4.73 percent to $5.24, while Gevo (GEVO) plummeted 7.06 percent to $3.95 . Among other equities, Aventine Renewables (AVRW) plunged 17.78 percent to $0.74. Overall, declines led advances 7 to 5 for the day.
