Freight rates slipping for ethanol from US Gulf to Rotterdam

In Texas, brokerage firm Netco says freight rates for ethanol from Houston to Rotterdam are at the lowest point seen this year, at just $45 per metric ton for 5,000 ton vessels. The firm says it would take a huge correction in the freight market for prices to rebound back to early highs of $60 per ton.
