Biofuels Digest Index dips to 68.50 as ethanol sags

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, shed 0.23 percent to 68.50 as ethanol fell again. For the day, Biofuel Energy (BIOF) plunged 6.90 percent to $7.15, while Syntroleum (SYNM) lost 4.94 percent to $0.77. Among other equities, Codexis (CDXS) surged 15.43 percent to $3.59. Overall, declines led advances 5 to 4 for the day.
