Limagrain to build bioplastics facility in Brazil

In Brazil, French company Limagrain Céréales Ingrédients has started a project for a manufacturing facility to produce their Biolice bioplastic.  The facility is expected to be about 2,000 m3, and a production capacity of 8,000 metric tonnes, with production expected to start in Q3 2013.  Biolice is sourced from maize cereal flour, and is both compostable and biodegradable.
