Thailand’s Bangchak Petroleum to invest USD$40M in biodiesel projects

In Thailand, Bangchak Petroleum has announced its plans to invest nearly USD$40M in two biodiesel projects, one upstream in palm oil crushing, and one downstream in biodiesel conversion. The biodiesel plant will expand capacity to 600,000 liters per day. Thailand ‘s current energy targets are set with renewable energy contributing 25% of the total energy in Thailand by 2020.
