Shuttered ethanol plant leads to excess water supply issues

In Indiana, local residents of an ethanol plant in South Bend that shut down in November are complaining about sudden bouts of flooding due to a higher water table. The plant had previously used up to 2 million gallons of water per day but is no longer pumping since it shut down.
