French green fund leads $2.96 million round for Finnish enzymes start-up

In France, Sofinnova Partners’ Green Seed Fund announced it has completed its first investment in MetGen, a start-up company that develops industrial enzymes with applications in pulp and paper, advanced biofuels and bio-chemicals industries. MetGen raised a total of $2.96 million in a financing round led by Sofinnova Green Seed Fund with participation from Finnish Industry Investment and Finnvera.
