Maple Energy to get more than half of its revenue from ethanol this year

February 18, 2013 |

In Peru, Maple Energy expects to get more than half of its revenue this year from ethanol sales, a huge difference from last year when petroleum products made up 99% of its gross receipts. The company can produce and transport ethanol to Europe for about half of what it can make selling the fuel in Rotterdam. Its cane production should reach 150 million metric tons this year.
