Iowa biodiesel industry looking for tax exemptions like Illinois

In Iowa, where the state’s biodiesel board is pushing for a B10 blend by 2022, is seeking an exemption for biodiesel on a proposed increase in fuel taxes much like in Illinois where biodiesel blends over 10% have zero sales tax. The state currently has a B5 mandate but it isn’t clear at what blend level they are seeking the tax exemption to come in at.
