Construction on Dakota Spirit AgEnergy to start this summer

In North Dakota, commissioning of the new 65 million gallon per year Dakota Spirit AgEnergy ethanol facility in Spiritwood could be commissioned as soon as late 2014 with construction expected to start this summer. It will use 23 billion bushels of corn annually. A $1.4 billion fertilizer will be co-located at the facility with construction set to begin when the ethanol facility comes online with commissioning seen in 2016.
